WHO I AM

More than just a number …

I have been working as a tax preparer & tax advisor for over 20 years and I still enjoy it. At times, understanding your background can help me to give you the best tax or financial advice.

I am good with numbers, but you are not just a number to me.

There is more to taxes than collecting documents and delivering a tax return as the end product. It’s about life & tax planning, about answering your questions and above all about answering the questions you don’t know to ask.

“Christine supported us in making this an easy transition.”

We moved to Davis for retirement and to be close to our children & our grandchild. Christine supported us in making this an easy transition. She made sense of the consequences of the sale of our family home and set us up to simplify future tax projects.

Taxes are a family tradition

My father worked for the German tax authorities, so taxes never scared me.

I have always been good at math and as a young adult I liked bridging cultural gaps by translating from one language to another.

Being multilingual and multicultural myself, I enjoy living in a university town and experiencing people from different backgrounds. I often help my clients with international tax situations or Non-Resident tax returns.

“Her multilingual background saved me the time of having to translate my documents.”

During my academic career I have been doing research and teaching in several countries and US states. Christine was able to navigate me through a complex set of different national tax systems. Her multilingual background saved me the time of having to translate my documents. She – unbelievably – made US taxes easy and our meetings enjoyable.
